Since graduating from NYU with a major in the business of film, Daisy has spearheaded business development and film acquisitions for TriCoast Worldwide, a sales and distribution company based in Los Angeles. She has raised significant financing on the companies behalf, both from private equity investors and from the international market place via pre-sales, and has developed strategic partnerships with leading companies in the industry including Red Bull Media House, Disney, Ubisoft, and NASA Ames. She attends all major film markets to acquire films, participates as an industry executive and project mentor at a variety of European and Asian co-production markets yearly, and speaks on various distribution panels for festivals around the world. In 2018, Hamilton formed a new label for TriCoast called Rock Salt Releasing. This label focuses exclusively on pre-selling, acquiring, and distributing auteur driven, festival films. The first titles under the Rock Salt Releasing label include; sales and distribution for Kazuhiro Soda’s INLAND SEA (2018) which premiered the Berlin International Film Festival, domestic distribution for Susanne Bier’s A SECOND CHANCE starring Game of Thrones star, Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, and pre-sales for ROTTERDAM I LOVE YOU, the next installment of Emmanuel Benbihy’s Cities of Love Franchise (New York I Love You, Paris I Love You, Rio I Love You).
