Anne Y. Kim works to normalize gender professional equity in our lifetime at Equal Pay Company. ≡ Equal Pay Company baselines, advances, and certifies leading enterprises for equal pay, culture, and growth across gender to enhance talent engagement for productivity in companies navigating highly competitive talent markets and focusing on guilt-free consumption products and services. Before founding ≡ Equal Pay Company, Anne recommended policy as Assistant Deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas on its public portfolio of $28 billion and over 108,000 employees to ensure the wellbeing of residents. She worked to coalesce population-inclusive laws, regulations, and person-centered programs with researched best practices for contextual consideration and envision policy direction on behalf of the 11 million residents of Los Angeles County.
Ms. Kim previously worked on policies that make it easier for people to breathe and live well: she lobbied for a greener emissions trading scheme in the Republic of Korea, co-authored a report to measure, evaluate, and augment the efficacy of Alabama’s statewide lead paint abatement and renovation program enforcement to reduce childhood lead poisoning; and guided 85 under-resourced families in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties to generate solar energy on their houses from door knock to post-install maintenance.
Her passion for equity translates in community service. Ms. Kim mentors under-resourced students to gain the knowledge and tools to access college, graduate school, and careers. She earned a Bachelor of Art at UC Berkeley and Master of Science at Harvard as a Gates Millennium Scholar. The California Triathlon Club Championship Series named her 2016 Most Improved Athlete. LA Tri Club named her 2014 Newbie of the Year. In her free time, she can be found hoofing marathons and triathlons in the neighborhood, at the beach, or in the mountains. She dares to love life and achieve pay equity in her lifetime.
